Developed by Capcom, Dead Rising is a third person action game that commands great response to survive each terror driven level of the game play. What you get is tons of weapons, a multitude of zombies to destroy and decapitate a great story and fantastic graphics that can give you the creeps each and every time you turn on the game.

First off, Dead Rising is all about the story of Frank West, a photojournalist, which has stumbled upon the creepy town of Willamette, Colorado looking for a story. But lo and behold, the town has been besieged by zombies and the local mall is where he goes to find protection and eventually eliminate his enemies and find the answers to his predicament.

For people who are more into blasting zombies to Kingdom come, this game is certainly your cup of tea. It has all the great ingredients and formulas for a great zombie blasting game and you may find something extra as well. All the clich‚s that have been featured in recent zombie decapitating games are present and then some.

Basically, the mall scene is littered with many different options and features. Most objects can be used as weapons and there are numerous zombies to test them on. You have guns, knives, chainsaws and even plants to hurl, stab, shoot and propel to eliminate your adversaries. But besides that, the mall is also the perfect place to get food and what-not to regain your health and to ensure that your character will last through the game.

All in all, combining its great graphics, an interesting story line and an easy game play, Dead Rising is surely a game that would be a great addition to your Xbox 360 games library. It embodies the games that the Xbox 360 has envisioned for its console, and although it is far from perfect, it is better than most for a first issue.
